    Analysis

    Cincinnati has won its last two meetings with Utah, and the Utes are on a five-game losing streak and didn't cover any of them. Just 10 wins on the season and 13 covers. Meanwhile, Cincinnati has won six of its last eight, including wins against BYU and Kansas as 8.5-point dogs. They beat Utah on February 15th, but they didn't cover the 12.5-point spread. My reason for liking Cincinnati to cover the spread is that they're on the brink of not making the tournament, forecasted to be one of the last eight teams out. Cincinnati's defense will see what is in store for them and take control of this moment. Cincinnati to cover.

    Analysis

    It's been a rough last few days of picks after a hot streak last week, so time to turn things around. Oregon's Dana Altman is a fantastic tournament coach - I saw it firsthand in Las Vegas more than a few times for the Pac-12 Tournament. His team has stunk this season but has covered in 4 of their last 5 games, while Maryland has lost their last four games outright. The Ducks won by 10 in this matchup on the road in January and I expect at least a 5+ point victory in Chicago on Tuesday.

    Analysis

    This America East semifinal looks like a complete mismatch, considering UMBC won both matchups this season by 23 and 24 points. The Retrievers have won 10 straight games and have covered in nine of them. I think they put this game away in the second half and win once again by double-digits.

    Analysis

    Virginia Tech controlled the regular season meeting, winning 82-63 and absolutely carving up Wake Forest’s defense to the tune of 1.35 points per possessions (a season-high for the Hokies). I’m not sure Wake Forest, a team that ranks 15th in the ACC in adjusted defensive efficiency in conference play, is going to have a lot of the answers they lacked when it comes to stopping Mike Young’s offense. Virginia Tech is clearly gutted from a tough loss four-point loss at Virginia over the weekend, but their slim tournament hopes can be kept alive with a deep run in the tournament. The Deacs could play this game closer than last month’s loss in Blacksburg, but this line doesn’t address the mismatch of that meeting.

    Analysis

    While you can throw out the records in this bitter rivalry, the Leafs have mailed it in on a seven-game skid, and the NHL's longest playoff streak will end. Coach Craig Berube is a goner. Star Auston Matthews is on an 11-game goal drought. Jakub Dobes has been confirmed in net for Montreal, and he's 11-4-0 with a 2.89 GAA at home. The Habs are in a dogfight for a playoff spot, so they can't afford to take a night off and fail to get two points in a game like this. The season series is also on the line.
