  • Guardians' Steven Kwan: Goes deep Tuesday

Kwan went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Orioles.

Kwan launched his third home run of the season to put the Guardians up 4-0 in the fifth and later added an RBI single. He's recorded nine hits and has driven in eight runs over his last five games while striking out just once. He continues to be a rock-solid fantasy asset, slashing .333/.391/.492 with 11 RBI, 13 runs, a steal and a 5:8 BB:K in 70 plate appearances.

  • Guardians' Steven Kwan: Leads offense in win

Kwan went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer, four total RBI and an additional run scored in Thursday's 6-1 win over the White Sox.

Kwan extended Cleveland's lead to 4-1 with a homer off Jonathan Cannon in the third inning, his second long ball of the season and his first since March 29. Kwan added another two RBI with a pair of base hits later in the contest. The 27-year-old outfielder is off to another fast start this season, going 16-for-45 (.356) with a .931 OPS, 11 runs scored, seven RBI and a stolen base through 51 plate appearances.

  • Guardians' Steven Kwan: Homers in loss to Royals

Kwan went 1-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk and an additional run scored in a 4-3 loss to Kansas City on Saturday.

Kwan found his power stroke in 2024, hitting 14 homers -- more than his 2022 and 2023 seasons combined. He's off to a good start in that department in 2025. The left fielder is 3-for-7 in the first two games of the year with three runs, one homer, one double and no strikeouts. Hitting at the top of the Cleveland lineup should allow Kwan to score plenty of runs once again.

  • Guardians' Steven Kwan: Bops homer in spring debut

Kwan started in left field and went 2-for-3 with a home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's spring game against the Angels.

Kwan made his Cactus League debut and made an immediate impact. He singled to leadoff the bottom of the first inning and came around to score on a Tyler Freeman double. He later opened the bottom of the third with a solo home run. He's coming off a season in which he earned his first All-Star selection and should resume a role as the Guardians' leadoff batter.

  • Guardians' Steven Kwan: Settles with Cleveland

Kwan agreed to a one-year, $4.175 million contract with the Guardians on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Kwan slashed .292/.368/.425 with 14 homers, 44 RBI, 83 runs and 12 stolen bases over 122 regular-season games last year -- good enough to earn himself a $3.4 million salary bump in his first year of arbitration eligibility. While reaching 10 home runs again in 2025 is far from a guarantee for the 27-year-old outfielder, he's still worthy of fantasy attention based on his contact skills.
