Aman scored a goal and blocked three shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens. Aman had been a healthy scratch for nine straight contests before getting into the lineup Tuesday versus the Sabres. The 24-year-old forward remains in a fourth-line role, which puts a significant limit on his scoring potential. He's at three goals, seven points, 22 shots on net, 22 hits, 22 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 37 appearances.... See More ... See Less

Canucks' Nils Aman: Chips in helper
Aman contributed an assist in Monday's 6-3 win over the Rangers. Aman has two goals and three assists through 17 games, which is actually a solid running total considering the Swede is on the fourth line and averaging a mere 10:40 of ice time. Also, it should be known that all of Aman's points have taken place in team wins as Vancouver currently sits atop the Pacific Division with a 26-11-3 record.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Scores again Saturday
Aman scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Sharks. Aman has tallied a goal in two of his last three games. Despite the increased success on offense, Aman remains firmly in a bottom-four role with virtually no power-play time, so he's unlikely to sustain his improved pace. The 23-year-old center has four points, six shots on net, nine blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 13 appearances this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Nets first goal of season
Aman found the back of the net in Tuesday's win over Nashville. It was Aman's first tally of the year, and the goal snapped a nine-game point drought. In 11 contests he has one goal, two assists, three shots, four hits, nine blocks, and a plus-2 rating. His value remains limited to deeper leagues.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Shines in season debut
Aman notched two assists and went plus-3 in Friday's 5-1 win over the Kraken. Friday was Aman's NHL season debut after posting 15 points in as many games for AHL Abbotsford. The 23-year-old centered the third line and helped out on goals by Dakota Joshua and Nils Hoglander. As long as Pius Suter (undisclosed) is on injured reserve, Aman should have a chance to hold down a spot in the lineup. That said, he's unlikely to be consistent enough on offense to be a factor in fantasy.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Earns two-year extension
Aman signed a two-year, $825,000 AAV extension with Vancouver on Friday. Aman was promoted from AHL Abbotsford and is expected to make his season debut with Vancouver against Seattle on Friday. He's scored eight goals and 15 points at the AHL level this season. The 23-year-old tallied four goals and 16 points in 68 NHL games last year.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Back with Vancouver
Aman was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Friday, per the NHL media website. Aman was reassigned to the AHL before the start of the season and has prospered at Abbotsford, scoring eight times while adding seven assists in 15 games. Aman played 68 games with the Canucks last season, finding the back of the net on four occasions while adding eight assists. The Canucks currently have only 12 healthy forwards, necessitating the recall of Aman.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Sent down
Aman was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday. Aman generated four goals, 16 points, 50 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and 44 hits in 68 games for Vancouver last season. If the Canucks need reinforcements in 2023-24, he will probably be among the first recalls from the minors.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Posts helper Tuesday
Aman recorded an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken. Aman left the contest in the third period after he was bloodied by a high stick, but he was able to return. His helper came on Anthony Beauvillier's first-period tally. Aman has four assists over his last seven contests as he continues to play well in a depth role. The 23-year-old rookie has 16 points, 47 shots on net, 40 hits, 39 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 63 outings overall.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Puts up two points in win
Aman scored a goal, dished a shorthanded assist and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Senators. Aman has picked up the pace a bit lately, earning four points over his last four contests. The 23-year-old set up a J.T. Miller tally in the second period before scoring one of his own, which stood as the game-winner. Aman is up to four goals, 11 points, 40 shots on net, 32 hits, 32 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 51 appearances in a bottom-six role.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Collects assist in shootout win
Aman notched an assist in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Predators. Aman set up Dakota Joshua for the Canucks' third goal of the game. Playing in the bottom six has meant limited opportunities for Aman to contribute on offense -- he has two goals and two assists over 14 outings since the All-Star break. The 23-year-old is up to nine points, 37 shots on net, 32 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 49 contests overall.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Puts away goal Thursday
Aman scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Islanders. Aman spent all of January in the AHL, so this was his first NHL point since Nov. 26, a span of 16 scoreless appearances. The 23-year-old's tally pulled the Canucks within a goal in the second period. He has two goals, four assists, 28 shots on net, 27 hits, 22 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 38 outings. He continues to work primarily in a fourth-line role, though his 13:39 of ice time Thursday suggests he's earning a bit more trust from new head coach Rick Tocchet.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: AHL bound
Aman was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Friday. Aman has a goal and five points in 35 games this season, but he's gone pointless in his last 14 games. The Canucks recalled William Lockwood at the same time to replace Lockwood on the roster.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Slides helper Saturday
Aman notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Golden Knights. Aman has picked up two assists over his last five games. The 22-year-old center is averaging 12:00 of ice time per game, but he's been above that mark in four of the last six contests, as it appears he's gaining trust. He's up to five points, 12 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, 15 hits and a plus-1 rating in 21 outings this season.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Grabs assist in win
Aman generated an assist in Tuesday's win against the Sabres. Aman set up the opening goal of the contest. He snapped a five-game point drought, bringing him up to four points in 17 outings. The rookie center has nine shots, 11 hits, 16 blocks and a plus-1 rating.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Nils Aman: Tallies first points of NHL career
Aman picked up a goal and an assist in 9:41 of ice time in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to Minnesota. Aman, a 2020 sixth-round pick, notched the first two points of his NHL career Thursday. The 22-year-old pivot will likely continue to skate in a fourth-line role for the Canucks, severely limiting his offensive upside.... See More ... See Less
