Ingham has a 2.65 GAA and a .916 save percentage in 24 contests with ECHL Greenville as well as a 2.71 GAA and a .917 save percentage in six games with AHL Ontario this year. LA also assigned the 23-year-old goaltender to Greenville on Wednesday.

Jacob Ingham: Inks AHL deal
Ingham signed a one-year, AHL-only contract with AHL Ontario on Tuesday.
Ingham is expected to be fully healthy for the start of the 2023-24 campaign. He's yet to make his NHL debut, and he missed all of last season while recovering from back surgery. He'll have to show well with Ontario before potentially signing an NHL deal, but he'll remain on the Kings' radar with their minor-league affiliate.

Ingham underwent successful back surgery Tuesday, per John Hoven of Mayor's Manor.
Ingham is expected to need 5-6 months to recover. This is a big setback in his development and hurts the Kings' organizational goaltending depth. He's been on the non-roster injured reserve list since the start of the season and is expected to be sent to the minors once healthy.

Once Ingham is healthy, he's expected to be sent to the minors. He had a 2.71 GAA and .909 save percentage in 16 ECHL games last season. He also posted a 4.29 GAA and .861 save percentage in five AHL contests.

In a somewhat unconventional move, Ingham was elevated from ECHL Greenville to the Kings on Saturday, skipping the AHL level completely. He served as the backup to Jonathan Quick in a 5-1 loss to Carolina on Saturday, but it'll be Garret Sparks making the trip to Washington for Sunday's game while Ingham heads to the AHL. Cal Petersen remains in the league's COVID-19 protocols.

Ingham will skip the AHL entirely during this call-up due to the Kings requiring a netminder with Cal Petersen entering the league's COVID-19 protocols.
