Stutzle posted an assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Devils.

The Senators' offense will come around eventually, but fantasy managers should have no reservations when putting Stutzle in their lineups.

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Two assists Sunday
Stutzle recorded two assists and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over Utah.
Stutzle recorded points in consecutive games for the first time since a Jan. 11 and Jan. 12 back-to-back set when he notched goals in wins over Pittsburgh and Dallas. The 23-year-old has been slumping of late and has recorded a mere eight points (four goals, four assists) over 14 appearances in January. He's certainly capable of producing at a better rate than that, as evidenced earlier in the season when he began the year with 10 goals and 26 helpers over 28 contests.

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Gets goal, but pace has slowed
Stutzle picked up a goal Saturday in a 2-1 win over Toronto.
It was his 16th of the season. Stutzle has scuffled with just six points, including four goals, and 26 shots in his last 14 games. That skid has dropped his pace from a 94-point pace to a 77-point one. Stutzle is better than the latter, but maybe not quite as good as the former. We expect his offensive game to warm up soon -- Stutzle is too good for this slump to continue much longer.

Stutzle delivered an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over the Bruins.
His biggest contribution didn't appear in the box score, as Stutzle had the only successful attempt in the shootout, out-waiting Jeremy Swayman before calmly flipping the puck over the sprawling netminder. This was Stutzle's first multi-point performance since Dec. 11, ending a sluggish stretch that had seen the 23-year-old center manage just four goals and seven points in his prior 16 games.
